This will be the basis of a detailed plan that allows us to trek Har Ki Doon independently.
On a four-day trek from Sankri to Sankri, one can visit Maninda Tal and Jaundhar Glacier Viewpoint along Har Ki Doon Valley. This trek is for experienced trekkers only. You can see the same places in five days. the Har ki Doon Valley as well as Ruinsara Tal and Ruinsara Tal. Himalayan High recommends this itinerary to all trekkers. We offer three different routes to complete . These can be chosen according to your time and convenience.
PROPOSED ITINERARIES HAR KI DUN VALLEY TREK
You can choose from many versions of the Har Ki Doon trekking itinerary.
ITINERARY 1
This itinerary is recommended for 4 days Sankri-to Sankri and 6 days Dehradun-to Dehradun. This trek is slightly more difficult. This is why it’s not recommended for people who are regular trekkers and/or have a moderate fitness level.
Day 1: Drive from Dehradun towards Sankri. Arrive at Sankri.
DAY 2: Drive to Sankri from Taluka. Trek from Taluka towards Chillur Gad. Camp at Chillur.
DAY 3:Trak from Chillur Garh via Border to Kalkati Dhar via Kalkati Dhar
DAY 4: Trek to Har ki Doon Valley from Calcutta Dhar.
DAY 5: Trekking from Halche to Taluka via Osla or Gangad. Drive from Taluka and Sankri.
DAY 6: Return from Sankri to Dehradun, and further.
ITINERARY 2
It is 5 days Sankri-to-Sankri and 7 days Dehradun-to Dehradun. This is an ideal route for beginners, groups of families, and groups.
Day 1: Drive from Dehradun towards Sankri. Arrive at Sankri.
DAY 2: Drive to Sankri from Taluka.
DAY 3:Trak from Chillur Garh via Border to Kalkati Dhar via Kalkati Dhar
DAY 4: Start from Calcutta Dhar and trek to Har ki Doon Valley. You will also visit Maninda Tal. Stay at Kalkati Dhar camp until you return.
DAY 5: Trek to Chillur Gad via Osla. Camp at Chillur Gado.
DAY 6: Trek to Chillurgarh from Taluka. Drive from Taluka and Sankrik.
DAY 7: Travel and onward journey starting from Sankri to Dehradun.
ITINERARY 3
It takes 7 days to get from Sankri to Sankri, and 9 days to get from Dehradun To Dehradun. Highly recommended by Himalayan Hi.
Day 1: Drive from Dehradun towards Sankri. Arrive at Sankri.
Day 2: Drive from Sankri To Taluka, Trek from Taluka To Chillur Gad. Camp at Chillur Gad.
DAY 3: Trekking from Chillur Garh via Border to Kalkati Dhar via Kalkati Dhar
DAY 4: Hike from Kalkati Dhar, Har Ki Maninda excursion. Enjoy a spectacular view of the Jaundhar Glacier or Boslo. Return to camp.
DAY 5: Walk from Boslo towards the Ruinsara valley and camp there.
DAY 6: Trek to Ruinsara Lake from Rain Basera and camp at the lake
DAY 7: Trek to Chillur Garh via Ruinsara Lake and camp at ChillurGarh.
DAY 8: Trek to Chillurgarh from Taluka. Drive from Taluka and Sankrik.
DAY 9: Travel and onward journey starting from Sankri to Dehradun.
